Social Justice Group

The Social Justice Group exists to explore various Social Justice issues and to promote both knowledge of Catholic Social Teaching and the practical application of that teaching.  It is a group which over time has generated interest and action in a number of ongoing activities in the parish, including the International Parish Partnership which now operates as a separate Outreach activity. You can access here the following foundational documents of the Group.

The Social Justice Group was pleased with the attendance at the recent Deanery Event held on  31 May in which Fr. Max Vodola made a presentation relating to Catholic Social Teaching and Vatican II.  Fr Max traced the Church’s teaching from the Old Testament to Pope Francis. The link below provides a summary of the presentation.
